Background
I graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Medical School.I have been trained in thoracic surgery from Yedikule Teaching Hospital for Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery. I started VATS lobectomy program in 2007, received national and European Thoracic Surgery Board Certificates. I have been professor of thoracic surgery in Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa since 2013 and the chief of Thoracic Surgery at Cerrahpasa School of Medicine.
I have a strong interest in minimally invasive thoracic surgery particularly uniportal VATS and RATS resections, mediastinal staging procedures, VAMLA, inflammatory and infectious diseases, surgery for emphysema, tumor immunology and molecular biology of cancer.
