Background
I spent my years of residency at the Careggi University Hospital, Florence, Italy. Here I could follow and perform surgical intervention for lung cancer and for malignant and benign pathologies chest wall, trachea and mediastinum. Furthermore, I spent also periods of training at other surgical specialities, such as the breast unit for breast cancer pathology.
During my residency, I also had scientific production, with publication of several articles in many international journals
After residency I started to work as a thoracic sugeon at the Alessandro Manzoni Hospital, Lecco, Italy. in here we perform several surgical interventions, via VATS, RATS or OPEN, for primary or secondary lung cancer, benign pathologies of the lung, and pathologies of trachea, mediastinum and chest wall.
For lung cancer, we collaborate closely with oncologists and pneumologists to ensure the best patient's care and treatment, collegially evaluating all cases, especially those in which neoadjuvant or perioperative therapy may be useful.

Furthermore, I am an active reviewer for serveral journals.
