Background
I am currently undergoing standardized thoracic surgery training at the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. I completed my Ph.D. in Surgery at Zhejiang University in 2023. My clinical focus is primarily on thoracic surgery, with a particular emphasis on esophageal cancer and lung cancer, and my research is centered around the metabolic and immune-related changes observed in cancer patients.
Research
My previous research has focused on epigenetic modifications in cancer, particularly their roles in tumorigenesis, metastasis, and precision therapy. I have explored how specific epigenetic alterations, such as DNA methylation and histone modifications, contribute to cancer progression and treatment resistance, aiming to identify potential biomarkers for precision medicine.
Currently, my research is centered around esophageal cancer and lung cancer, with a particular focus on sarcopenia in esophageal cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant therapy. I investigate how sarcopenia affects immune responses and treatment outcomes, with the goal of improving patient prognosis and therapeutic strategies. Additionally, I am exploring the role of microplastics in the development of pulmonary nodules and their potential implications for lung cancer progression. Through these studies, I aim to contribute to better therapeutic strategies and personalized care for cancer patients.
