Background
Dr. Feriel Souissi is a board-certified thoracic surgeon trained at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis. She completed her residency in December 2024 and obtained her Specialist Certification in Thoracic Surgery in February 2025. She is currently based in France, practicing at the Robotic Thoracic Surgery Center in Dijon, where she focuses on minimally invasive and robotic thoracic surgery, particularly in lung cancer and advanced pulmonary diseases. Committed to international education and surgical excellence, Dr. Souissi completed the ESTS School of Thoracic Surgery “Knowledge Track Course 2024” in Prague and was selected for the ESTS Women in General Thoracic Surgery (WGTS) Academy 2024–2025. She represented Team Africa at the ESTS 32nd Annual Meeting (Barcelona, 2024) during the Postgraduate Symposium Master Cup. She serves as Media Representative of the ESTS WGTS Committee. Her professional interests include robotic thoracic surgery, thoracic oncology, chest wall surgery and surgical education.
