Message from the Board of Directors - Earthquakes Turkey and Syria

Very powerful earthquakes have hit Turkey and Syria. Earthquakes have caused widespread destruction and death. The damage is unprecedented, and tens of thousands of people died. We have lost hundreds of doctors including thoracic surgeons from the area.
The acute phase of disaster relief is going on but there is a need for help. The disaster is one of the worst for humankind. There are many reliable public and civil initiatives to help both countries.
