ESTS Robotic Technology Discovery Course, IRCAD, France
18 and 19 December 2023
The ESTS Robotic Working Group is pleased to announce an ESTS course for beginners being held on the 18 and 19 December 2023 in IRCAD, France.
There are limited places available.
The course will support members with the educational course content, one night hotel including breakfast, lunch and one course dinner. Your reasonable travel costs will be included. Any additional hotel nights not included.
The first day will start in the afternoon, leaving the hotel at around 15:00 hours for transfer to the training centre. The afternoon will consist of lectures of the basics of robotic assisted surgery, anatomy, docking, step by step procedure followed by simulation. The course dinner will be on Day 1. The second day will be the wet lab finishing at 16:00 hours with a debriefing.
To be eligible to apply for a place on this course:

ESTS member, living in Europe

Adequate skills in English

National certified and/or EBTS or EBCTS certified

Surgeons should be within the ten years after finishing their training

Despite not being included in a running robotic program, candidates should ratify the possibility of future applying the acquired skills at home institution because facilities and da Vinci system are available in their institution.

Simulator training recommended before the course if possible
