Standard wound care

Wounds are not usually a problem. It should be kept clean and dry, washing it with water and shower gel. Use a mirror if you want to see it. Frequently, there will be a stitch in the wound where the drainage was. This can be removed by your nurse 10 to 15 days after the operation.

It is common that the area of ​​the wound is swollen, and produces changes in the folds of the skin, this is normal and will improve over time. Contact your nurse if you are worried about the wound. But, if you notice that the wound becomes red or hot, it drains pus or you develop fever contact your doctor.

Do not worry about the internal stitches, they will reabsorb with time
